DECEMBER GOALS

Happy December! 🙂 Last month I announced I’m starting a Monthly Goals Series here on #TSLB as a way of feeling like I’m continuously moving forward and fulfilling goals in my life whether they’re big or small. I challenged you to jump on this challenge with me, I hope you’ve found it helpful and if you’re just finding out about this now…it’s all good! It’s never too late to start.

Here’s how last month went and what my goals for this month are…check it out.

Last month my goals were to go to the gym 3x a week, read my Bible every day, start and finish a novel, have more ‘no social media nights’ with my husband and start a journal.

Going to the gym has always been a struggle of mine because I find it boring but I’m getting better and I can say that last month I’ve been incorporating physical activity into my daily life 3x a week. If I don’t make it to the gym then I work out at home; I go for daily walks in the morning and during my lunch hour. I’m working on getting closer to God, reading the Word and/or watching sermons on a daily basis. I have not finished a novel but I have started reading ‘The Names of Dead Girls by Eric Rickstad” and hope to finish it real soon. No social media nights with my hubby have become an actual ‘thing‘ in our life, it brings us closer and gets us to discover more about each other. Starting a journal…I’m starting more of a gratitude journal where I write the things I’m grateful for as a way of keeping my sight on what’s important.

For this month, here are my goals:

  1. Invest, prioritize and stay consistent with my blog.
  2. Keep feeding my soul, the closer I get to God the better and more confident I feel.
  3. Make time for the valuable relationships in my life.

I love starting off fresh every month with a new set of goals because it’s fun and exciting to work on something new for myself. You in?
